The Conrad Blucher Institute has a long history of supporting education and outreach efforts to promote the fields of geospatial engineering and land surveying. This includes the establishment of the Point of Beginning Initiative and supporting the Geographic Information Science and Geospatial Systems Engineering programs at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
