Texas Spatial Reference Center (TSRC)
The ground truth for Texas.
The Texas Spatial Reference Center (TSRC) is housed at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, within the Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying and Science.
TSRC was established through Texas legislation in 2007 under Texas Education Code § 88.503, and was given the authority to define an official Texas Coordinate System in 2021 under Natural Resources Code § 21.0711.
TSRC is the state's leader in Texas's transition to the modernized National Spatial Reference System, a nationwide effort led by the National Geodetic Survey (NGS).
