  • OPUS Projects - Manage and process survey projects involving multiple sites and occupations.

  • OPUS Share - Contribute to and access shared OPUS solutions.

coordinate & datum conversions

  • NCAT - Convert coordinates between reference frames and coordinate systems in a single step

  • VDatum - Convert elevation data among vertical datums.

marks & cors data

  • Survey Mark Datasheets - Look up official NGS data for geodetic survey marks, including passive control, tidal bench marks, and leveling network points, with published coordinates, descriptions, and history.

  • NOAA CORS Network (NCN) - Access continuously operating reference station data.

  • Survey Mark Recovery - Report on the condition of existing geodetic survey marks.

education & training

  • NGS Webinars - Access recorded webinar series covering geodesy, GPS/GNSS, and NSRS modernization topics.

  • NGS Presentations - Access slide decks and materials from NGS's conference and training presentations for the most current information.

  • NGS New Datums - NGS's central hub for modernization updates, including "Get Prepared" guidance and the Track Our Progress page you're already linking to on the Modernization page.

modernization beta tools

  • NGS Beta Site - NGS's central hub for testing modernized tools and datasets ahead of official release. Worth bookmarking, as new tools are added here as they become available.

  • NAPGD 2022 Interactive Map - Explore the modernized vertical datum and preview geoid model changes across the country.

  • SPCS 2022 Interactive Map - View Texas's approved SPCS2022 zones, including the statewide, five-zone, and LDP layers.

  • NCAT Beta - Convert coordinates to and from SPCS2022 ahead of official adoption. NCAT Beta currently supports SPCS2022 conversions only. Coordinates must be pre-processed through HTDP first, skipping this step can introduce errors of several meters.
