This course takes a focused look at two key sections of engineering plan sets for heavy civil construction projects: existing topography sheets and demolition plans. Building on foundational plan set navigation skills, this course equips professionals with the ability to determine what is already on the ground and what needs to change before construction can begin. Using the Everhart Road reconstruction project in Corpus Christi, Texas, as a real-world case study, participants will learn to extract site information and understand how demolition plans connect to field operations and surveying. Taught from the perspective of an experienced survey manager, Zach Frye from JE Construction Services, this course bridges classroom learning to real-world field conditions.
