As Assistant Director of Research Operations, Ms. Devon Steffan serves as a Principal Investigator for research operations projects focused on the installation, operation, and maintenance of data collection stations that provide real-time environmental data. These projects are supported by a diverse group of federal, state, and local partners who rely on the data for navigation, research, informed decision-making, and other critical applications.

Additionally, Devon serves on the Council of Principal Investigators and Research Administrators (CPIRA) and is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators. She is committed to maintaining CBI’s reputation for producing highly accurate scientific data and to leading and supporting her team in meeting contract deliverables while consistently exceeding sponsor expectations.

An alumna of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, Devon earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is pursuing her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
