As a member of CBI’s Field Research Operations Group (FROGs), Dominic helps maintain and deploy the expansive network of environmental monitoring stations along the Gulf Coast. He first joined the team as a student worker in 2019, eventually transitioning to a full-time role and advancing to Research Engineering Associate and party chief for CBI’s water quality projects.

Dominic earned his B.S. in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2023. He brings extensive hands-on experience in environmental data collection, with a particular focus on water quality monitoring, and has broadened his expertise across a wide range of environmental observation systems. He completed the Dive Operations training program at TAMU-CC, obtaining a scientific diver certification that supports his role in conducting underwater inspections and maintenance activities for sponsored research projects. In addition to his technical contributions, Dominic works closely with the FROGs’ student employees and is committed to mentoring and sharing his knowledge with those pursuing careers in environmental science.
