As part of the CBI Analytics & Technology Solutions (CATS), Matthew helps develop software for funded projects and works with the development Scrum teams on the implementation of software systems.
Matthew received his Bachelor and Master of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He began his career as a software development intern at a local software company in Corpus Christi before being “rescued from that fate” by Dr. Philippe Tissot to work on research adjacent software projects in CBI’s Coastal Dynamic Lab. While pursuing his master’s degree, Matthew worked on AI and robotics project for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC.
